Asset Inventory Service
The Asset Inventory Service gives you the ability to actively and passively scan and identify individual devices and controllers on your network under real-time conditions and manage your assets in versiondog .
The Asset Inventory Service offers you the following aspects:
-
Device identification
Automatic device identification by active or passive scan as well as import of connected devices from versiondog -
Device management
Management of all OT devices at a glance, supplemented by detailed information from versiondog -
Risk and vulnerability assessment
Detailed information on risk rating and vulnerabilities of the devices
In the detail view of an asset, you will find the following versiondog specific entries depending on the given data:
Entry | Description |
---|---|
VD Component | Name of the component |
VD Component ID | Component ID |
VD Component path | Component directory |
VD Date | Timestamp of the component |
VD Server | The name of server |
VD Source | Path to server |
VD Version | Current versiondog version |
The Asset Inventory Service is an add-on and requires a separate license.
If you already have a license from Claroty, you can use our Claroty Connect solution and perform an analysis of your assets when you check in a component without having a licensed Asset Inventory Service.
You also have the option to create a file with information about your assets and send it to AUVESY-MDT without purchasing a license for Asset Inventory Service. The Send data tab is available for this purpose in the AdminClient. This is located under Global settings module.
